The West Wight Rifle & Pistol Club runs a regular programme of competitions across all its main disciplines, giving members plenty of opportunities to develop their skills and enjoy friendly rivalry.

Precision .22 Rifle – Prone and Benchrest matches focused on accuracy, consistency, and tight group shooting.

Sporting Rifle – Flexible events using a wide range of rifles, from airguns to muzzle‑loaders, emphasising practical marksmanship.

Precision Airgun – Air Rifle and Air Pistol competitions using .177 single‑shot guns, ideal for building core technique and precision.
Alongside these, the club hosts seasonal leagues, monthly shoots, and an annual championship, ensuring there’s always something on the calendar for shooters of every level.
